  1. Just to verify, the date for departing from Tokyo is June 9, not June 8. On the way to Thailand, the team will be flying into the future. Coming back home, they will be going back in time, so the return dates are all Aug. 1. Thanks for all the good organization and planning.

  2. So after researching I would like to comment that the airtime for one way is about 27hr!!!!! Thats insane!!! And thats at the least, man we are going to know each other well before we even arrive! LOL. Sweet, I love that now we can witness to people not only in Thailand but now at the GA airport, the Detroit Airport, in Tokyo Japan and in thailand. Praise the Lord for this opportunity! Amen!

  3. That would be me Nate. I am going to be taking lots of pictures at the Tokyo Airport. For sure.

    • Dad Shaffer, thanks for the catch! This was the last team that I posted on…I was exhausted after doing like 20 of these 🙂

  4. This makes me the happiest girl alive!

My heart has been aching for an airplane!

I get antsy if I am not one one every few months, at least.

    Woo!
    (:

  5. Haha,

I think this trip will definitely satisfy my airplane quota for the year…

    Can’t wait!

  6. YES!!! I’m with nate.
    Stoping in Japan = AWESOME!!!
I seriously cant wait for this guys, only 28 more days!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!!!

  7. whats with everyone and japan? once upon a time i was romanced by everything japan too, but really japan is a nation so lost, it makes canada look half pleasing to the Lord. Tokyo is fully of prostitution, pollution, violence, and so much other crimes. Did you guys know public sex is actually so common there people barely make a fuss. And they even have to make serpate carts in the subways for women because men will rape any woman who they find alone in the other carts, and the other passengers just ‘mind their own business’. I just share this with you all to remind you even in our stop overs we should take every advantage to reach these lost people, not be the typical western tourist. Heh just my 2 cents. Thanks for reading.

Peace and grace be with you.

  8. Good word Luke! Colossians 4:5, “Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.” I think that’s truth that we should live our lifes off. The location doesn’t matter, people are people and they need the Lord.

I think it’s the wanderlust inside of me that is excited for Tokyo. It could be anywhere for that matter, it’s the fact that it’s somewhere new.

  9. Well, if that’s the case, that japan is really that lost, all the more reason to be excited about going there.
But I’ll admit it. I’ve never been to Asia,I’m excited to see it.

  10. I agree. Japan is such a new country to me. I hardly know any Japanese people who live around me. I wouldn’t like it any less. The more it is to learn something of the unknown and love the people in it.
